CHICAGO (May 14, 2020) – Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales team (in cooperation with ECHO Retail) recently brokered the sale of a Giant Eagle and GetGo in Somerset, Pennsylvania. The 60,842 square-foot single tenant, true triple net leased grocery store and convenience store was sold to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based Kamin Realty Inc. in May 2020.
Located in Somerset County, roughly 70 miles southeast of Pittsburgh, Giant Eagle and GetGo anchor a larger 133,492 square foot ALDI and Dollar General anchored shopping center. The center also benefits from the cross traffic generated by surrounding national retailers including Lowe’s, Walmart Supercenter, and Tractor Supply Co.
