CHICAGO (October 3, 2019) – Mid-America Real Estate Corporation and Pace Properties recently brokered the sale of Ballwin Plaza in Ballwin, Missouri. The 204,859 square-foot regional shopping center was purchased by Cincinnati, Ohio-based Select Strategies Realty for $20.875 million.
Ballwin Plaza is ideally situated on Manchester Road (State Highway 100), which serves as the dominant retail corridor for the western suburbs of St. Louis including Manchester, Town & Country, and Des Peres.
The 93% leased center is grocery-anchored by Schnucks Supermarket (the #1 grocer in the St. Louis MSA). In addition to its dominant grocery anchor, Ballwin Plaza benefits from a diverse national credit tenant line-up including Hobby Lobby, Marshalls, and Buffalo Wild Wings, as well as a solid group of local and regional tenants that provide a strong draw to the center. Ballwin Plaza provides a stable income stream boasting a weighted average remaining lease term of nearly 11 years.
