OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. (January 12, 2018) – Chicago, Ill.-based Mid-America Real Estate Corporation recently announced the promotions of three employees to Senior Vice Presidents and one employee to Vice President.
Andrew Becker is a member of Mid-America’s Urban team, specializing in Chicago’s urban retail landscape. Becker has been involved in more than 200 transactions, representing over 6,000,000 square feet with an aggregate value of over $600 million. Over the past six years with Mid-America, he has focused his time and attention on representing landlords and tenants lease space throughout Chicago’s great neighborhoods. He has been promoted to a Senior Vice President of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation. He graduated from University of Colorado at Boulder and has continued his education through the Chicago School of Real Estate and CCIM Institute. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and a board member for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund Alliance.
Sean Bossy is a member of Mid-America’s Tenant Representation team specializing in site selection, negotiation and acquisition on behalf of retailers throughout the Midwest. He has been promoted to a Senior Vice President of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation. Bossy attended the University of Colorado’s Boulder Leeds School of Business and received his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in finance and a certification in Real Estate. He is an active member of ICSC and is currently serving on the 2nd Gen Board for ChainLinks Retail Advisors.
Michael Wexler is a member of Mid-America’s Urban team, representing retail tenants throughout the urban markets of Chicago. Wexler has coordinated efforts for retailers new to the Chicago market, as well as existing retailers who seek to change strategy or re-brand themselves through their real estate efforts. Wexler has been promoted to a Senior Vice President of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation. He attended The University of Kansas, is a founding member of Camp Out for Kids Charity Organization and is an active member of ICSC.
Carly Gallagher is a member of Mid-America’s Investment Sales team, focusing specifically on the disposition of retail properties and is responsible for the generation, underwriting and execution of investment sales assignments. Carly has been involved in a transaction volume in excess of $500 million since joining Mid-America. She has been promoted to Vice President of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation. Ms. Gallagher holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she also played Division 1 Collegiate Soccer. She is a member of the Real Estate Finance Forum (REFF), where she served on the board as Treasurer, and is currently serving on the board of the ICSC Next Generation Committee.
