OAKBROOK TERRACE, Ill. (December 21, 2015) – Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales team recently brokered the sale of The Shoppes at Windmill Place in Batavia, Ill. Cincinnati-based Phillips Edison purchased the 122,176-square-foot grocery-anchored property for $24.5 million.
The Shoppes at Windmill Place is located at the northwest corner of Randall Road and Main Street in the upper-middle class suburb of Chicago. The center is anchored by Jewel Osco and features national retailers including Comcast, Dunkin’ Donuts, Mattress Firm, Subway and more.
Joe Girardi and Rick Drogosz of Mid-America Real Estate Corporation were the exclusive brokers in the transaction on behalf of the seller, Chicago-based RREEF.
