MINNEAPOLIS (January 5, 2016) – Minneapolis-based Mid-America Real Estate – Minnesota, LLC announced five new retail leases recently signed on behalf of retailers. Mid-America Tenant Representation team represented the tenants in the following transactions, listed below in order of transaction size.
Cottage Grove, Minn. (Washington County) – Office Max signed a lease for 20,027 square feet at 9010 Jamaica Avenue South located in Cottage Grove, Minn. The center is located off of Highway 10.
St. Louis Park, Minn. (Hennepin County) – Party City signed a lease for 12,000 square feet at 5825 Excelsior Boulevard located in St. Louis Park, Minn. The 61,000 square foot center is located off of Excelsior Boulevard. The retailer is expected to open in April 2016.
Vadnais Heights, Minn. (Ramsey County) – Pet Supplies Plus signed a lease for 9,005 square feet at Vadnais Square located in Vadnais Heights, Minn. The center is located at the northwest corner of 35 East and Count Road E, and is anchored by Chipotle, Radio Shack, Dollar Tree, GNC and Famous Footwear. The retailer is expected to open in June 2016.
Coon Rapids, Minn. (Anoka County) – Kirkland’s signed a lease for 8,501 square feet at Riverdale Village located in Coon Rapids, Minn. The 950,192-square-foot center is located at the corner of US 10 and Round Lake Boulevard Northwest, and is anchored by Costco Wholesale, Sears, JCPenney and Kohl’s. The retailer is currently open.
White Bear Lake, Minn. (Ramsey County) – Starbucks signed a lease for 2,000 square feet at White Bear Marketplace located in White Bear Lake, Minn. The Oppidan-developed 110,000-square-foot center is located at the northwest corner of Interstate 694 and White Bear Avenue, and is anchored by Cub Foods. The retailer is expected to open in May 2016.
