Drexel Town Square, an exciting mixed-use development in Oak Creek, Wisconsin is underway. The project will be reminiscent of a traditional downtown, including a Main Street – Oak Creek’s first – with a new City Hall and Library on a town square surrounded by retail stores, restaurants, shops, businesses and apartments. Located at the southwest corner of South Howell Avenue and West Drexel Avenue about 10 miles south of downtown Milwaukee and less than a mile east of Interstate 94. The retail portion of the mixed-use development features a 190,000 square foot Meijer store and fuel center, six retail outlot development sites ranging from 1.5 -2.2 acres along with approximately 50,000 square feet of street level retail space along Main Street which will overlook Oak Creek’s new Town Square. In addition to the civic portions of the development, Drexel Town Square will also include a medical office building, full service health club, an education facility and high end apartments. Construction is underway on this unique 85 acre mixed-use development.
Mid-America Real Estate Group is handling the leasing and marketing for the retail, commercial and office spaces at Drexel Town Square. We are collaborating with WisPark LLC, Phelan Development, WiRED Properties and Rinka Chung Architecture throughout the conceptual, design and building phases of the project. This development is history in the making for Southeastern Wisconsin.
