Lindsey’s focus is landlord and tenant representation as well as surplus property disposition throughout Michigan. Her dynamic personality and strong work ethic guide her clients to successful transactions.
Lindsey became a licensed salesperson in Michigan in July 2012. She began her real estate career in multi-family leasing and property management in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After spending three years in multi-family leasing, Lindsey wanted to expand her knowledge in the commercial real estate world. Lindsey joined Mid-America Group Real Estate-Michigan, Inc. in November 2015.
EDUCATION AND AFFILIATIONS
Lindsey received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and Women Studies from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a member of the Next Gen Committee. Shaw spearheaded the Mid-America Next Gen group in 2018 and is an active member in the Chainlinks network, and women in Chainlinks Mentorship program. Outside of the office Lindsey writes for the Detroit Jewish News, and is a founding member of the Cities Without Houses - Detroit Soho House.
Lindsey’s notable product leasing clients include: Ford Motor Land Development Co., Time Equities Inc, RPT Realty, Kin Properties, Excess Space, VEREIT, Sansome Pacific Properties, and Pacifica Companies. Ford Motor Land Development Co. broke ground in May 2017 on the Wagner Place, a 150,000 SF mixed-use development in Dearborn, MI. The project will bring 600+ Ford Motor employees to Downtown West Dearborn and 40,000 SF of new 1st floor retail, which was 69% pre-leased. With her finger on the pulse of the market, Shaw represents national tenants such as: American Freight Furniture & Mattress, Cycle Gear, Shopko Optical, PNC Bank, AT&T Wireless, Warby Parker, drybar, and OPORTUN in Michigan. Franchise businesses also capitalize on Lindsey’s expertise, she has experience working with companies such as: F-45 Training, Freshii, The UPS Store, Red Effect Infrared Fitness, Massage Green Spa, and Dy N Fly. Additionally, Lindsey has expanded her business to include the procurement of sites on behalf of financial institutions in premier real estate locations.
