Mid-America Asset Management Lists 12 Midwest Retail Properties Recently Assigned by RREEF  

CHICAGO (November 19, 2009) – Following RREEF’s recent announcement on the selection of four firms to manage 29 of its retail centers nationwide, Chicago-based Mid-America Asset Management disclosed details on the 12 Midwest properties in the deal that it will be managing for RREEF, totaling 1.6 million square feet. According to Michelle Panovich, Mid-America principal involved in managing the properties, the centers are primarily located in Illinois, with a couple centers located in Wisconsin and Minnesota.


The assignments are an expansion of Mid-America’s current relationship with RREEF, with whom Mid-America has worked over the past 10 years. “Some of these properties have already been in the Mid-America portfolio as leasing assignments,” Panovich says. “Now, we’ve taken on property management and accounting for these centers, as well.” And for those centers that are new, Mid-America is already familiar with their markets. Overall, she says, “we’re very pleased and honored to manage all 12 of these centers for RREEF.”

– The Shoppes at Windmill Place (122,176 s.f) located at 5-151 S. Randall Road/2002-2014 W. Wilson, in Batavia, Ill.

CHICAGO, Ill. (Cook County)
– Gateway Center (186,360 s.f.) located at 1731-1763 W. Howard Street.
– LaSalle Bank (6,000 s.f) located at 7516 N. Clark Street.
– Walgreen Plaza (18,450 s.f) located at 6105-6129 N. Broadway.

DEERFIELD, Ill. (Lake County)
– Deerbrook Mall (626,617 s.f.) located at 110 S. Waukegan Road.

EVANSTON, Ill. (Cook County)
– Dominick’s Evanston (41,090 s.f.) located at 2748 North Green Bay Road.

GENEVA, Ill. (Kane County)
