Michael P. Phillips has fourteen years of experience in the Chicago retail real estate industry and has specialized in tenant representation, shopping center leasing and shopping center development.
Phillips has been involved with the Chicago area expansion programs for multiple national and regional retailers such as Ross Dress for Less, Aldi, CVS/Pharmacy, Target, Vitamin Shoppe, American Mattress, Home Depot and Old Navy.
In the course of his career, Phillips has been involved in the land assemblage work required for over 25 CVS/pharmacy locations, multiple bank locations as well as power center sites. Successful developments range from small retail strips to big box anchored projects. Among his major leasing projects were a 350,000-square-foot retail center in Niles, Illinois and a 30-acre mixed-use development in Lombard, Illinois.
Phillips is an active member in various professional affiliations including International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Urban Land Institute (ULI), and Young Real Estate Professional (YREP).
Phillips is a native of Pittsburgh, Pa. area, and attended Bucknell University, where he earned a degree in economics. He currently lives in Chicago.
