Matt Gould is a Vice President in our Chicago office. He specializes in urban retail leasing and sales transactions exclusively for both landlords and national tenants. Mr. Gould strategizes with tenants about their expansion plans based on an evaluation of targeted trade areas, demographics and immediate co-tenancy. Additionally, quarterly assessment reports are compiled for clients that entail everything from targeted tenants already established in Chicago, to new tenants penetrating the market, as well as existing tenants seeking to relocate. These report keep Mr. Gould’s clients up to speed on the neighborhood activity throughout Chicago.
Mr. Gould has successfully completed transactions that have a total value of over $150 million dollars over the past ten years for both tenants and landlords.
Prior to Mid-America, Mr. Gould worked at Rubloff Commercial for five years. At Rubloff, Mr. Gould was responsible for leasing the retail and office space, as well as executing the renewals in downtown Chicago for approximately 20 buildings.
Mr. Gould holds a Bachelor degree from University of Phoenix in Business Management. Mr. Gould is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers.
