Lindsey’s focus is Landlord and Tenant representation as well as surplus property disposition throughout Michigan.
Lindsey became a licensed salesperson in Michigan in July 2012. She began her real estate career in multi-family leasing and property management in Ann Arbor, Michigan. After spending three years in multi-family leasing, Lindsey wanted to expand her knowledge in the commercial real estate world. Lindsey joined Mid-America Group Real Estate-Michigan Inc. in November 2015.
EDUCATION AND AFFILIATIONS
Lindsey recieved a Bachelor’s of Arts in Communication Studies and Women Studies from The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and is a member of the Next Gen Committee. Shaw spearheaded the Mid-America Next Gen group in 2018 and is an active member in the Chainlinks network, and women in Chainlinks WoMentorship program. Outside of the office Lindsey writes for the Detroit Jewish News.
Lindsey’s notable product leasing clients include Ford Motor Land Development Co., Time Equities Inc, Ramco-Gerschenson Properties Trust, Sandor Development, Excess Space and VEREIT. Ford Motor Land Development Co. broke ground in May 2017 on the Wagner Place, a 150,000 SF mixed-use development. The project will bring 600+ Ford Motor employees Downtown West Dearborn and 40,000 SF of new 1st floor retail. With her finger on the pulse of the market, Shaw represents national tenants such as Warby Parker, Big R, David’s Bridal, Compassus Health Care, and Jackson Hewitt in Michigan. Shaw is experienced with working with Franchise businesses such as Red Effect Infrared Fitness, Massage Green Spa, Stretch Smart Infrared Therapy, The Simple Greek, and I Love Juice Bar.
