Zander joined the project leasing team at Mid-America Real Estate-Minnesota, LLC in
early 2015. After working in a ‘Jr. Broker’ capacity, he quickly moved into the role of
Retail Leasing Specialist. Zander now focuses on landlord lease representation and is
developing expertise in urban retail developments.
Prior to joining Mid-America, Zander worked in international economic development
and American export regulation. He interned with the United Nations Development
Programme, helping a global policy team with “Post-2015” Development consulting.
While interning at the United States Department of Commerce, Zander assisted a group
of export enforcement analysts. In these roles Zander conducted open source research,
drafted press releases and speeches, and provided written analyses to his superiors.
EDUCATION & AFFILIATIONS
Zander graduated cum laude from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California, where
he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Minnesota
Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR) and Minnesota Shopping Center
Association (MSCA). Zander serves as a Jr. Co-Chair on MSCA’s Legislative Committee.
