The Urban Team at Mid-America Real Estate Group was formed with one vision: to assist retailers, investors, owners, and developers in making informed decisions with respect to their retail activity in the City of Chicago and near suburbs of Cook County.

The Team, working under the Mid-America umbrella, is comfortable in all aspects of retail real estate including tenant representation, property leasing, investment sales, development advisory, acquisitions and land assemblages. Their client base ranges from the large, national entity to the single person entrepreneur.

The Urban Team covers a wide spectrum ranging from high-profile areas, such as Michigan Avenue, to the smaller, distinct neighborhoods of the far South Side. They are also very active in liaisons with City of Chicago Aldermen, Chicago’s “Retail Chicago” initiative and numerous other municipal and county officials in order to spur development and retail expansion in
underserved neighborhoods.

While the Team is professionally committed, each member is actively involved in giving back to the Chicago communities in which they serve. They are involved in supporting organizations such as; HELP (Help Ease Local Poverty), the Lawson House YMCA, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, The Greater North Michigan Avenue Association and the Central Loop Alliance.
